November is National Gratitude Month. We have read it repeatedly in positive psychology research and if there is a one-word answer to the secret of happiness, it is gratitude.
Gratitude may be the most vital tool in the kit when it comes to pulling ourselves and others out of a funk, or rebooting a terrible blue mood. Practicing daily gratitude gives us a deeper connection to ourselves and the world around us. Research has shown that exercising gratitude regularly can enhance our moods, strengthen social bonds, and improve physical health.

A gentle reminder to teachers writing passes for students who wish to visit the library...
Attention all FS, GS, & ASP teachers:
Please DO NOT write passes for students to visit the library during this time unless you are the student's subject area teacher. Students are directed to get passes from their subject area teachers.
Attention all Subject Area teachers:
Please DO NOT write passes for students to visit the library after the tardy bell has rung for the current period. The expectation is for students to arrive on time to the library and are expected to get a pass from their teacher prior to the current period in which they are visiting.
