Educators Rising

Educators Rising student members, recently had the opportunity to meet PJ Caposey, who emphasized his "why" for being an educator.  In an effort to connect and get to know their teachers, counselors, deans, administrative members, and all staff members are asking you to complete this form. They will be using the information to create posters that will hang outside of your classroom door or office. It is their hope that reading this information will allow students to connect with you and understand your passion and interest in teaching or working in a school environment on a personal level.

Please complete this form before Thanksgiving Break. Students will be working to create, print, and hang each poster at the start of second semester. If you have any questions please reach out to Andrea Van Wie and Angela Scharbert.

Oswego East/SD308 Announces Partnership with the Oswego Public Library

Do you have an Oswego Public Library card? Do you wish you had access to ebooks? We have some exciting news!

SD308 and The Oswego Public Library District partnership has been extended to give all students in SD308 access to the digital resources available through our public library during the 2021-22 school year. This renewed partnership will give all students access to the amazing resources our public library has to offer!  There are so many great databases and ebooks that students may use for research, homework, classwork and personal enjoyment.

Getting access to these resources is EASY!  Just fill out the linked Google Form.  After you complete it, Mrs. Fairless will contact you with access instructions and your library card number and PIN.  IT’S THAT EASY!  :)  The library card number will be active as soon as you receive it, and will expire on June 1, 2022.

Students will receive immediate access to the digital library and information on how to access these resources will be sent to you along with the library card number.

Please fill out the form and start exploring the wonderful resources on your own!

Shout Outs

Give a Shout Out to your colleagues here!

BIG shout out to OE's tech guy, Matt Johnson, who saved the day  Wednesday (11/17) when the computer and projector in the Community Room were not communicating for the Waubonsee Works presentation.  Thank you Matt for all that you do to keep us up and running technologically.
